Hungarian Export-Import Bank earmarks €100 million for joint industrial projects in Egypt
The Hungarian Export-Import Bank Plc. (Eximbank) has earmarked €100 million ($117.2 million) to establish joint industrial investments in Egypt, Hungary’s Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó said on Friday.
Speaking to Egyptian Minister of Trade Nevine Gamea in Cairo, Szijjártó described Egypt as one of the most attractive markets for investment in the region.
There is a Hungarian electric lighting company that seeks to invest in Egypt, Szijjártó said, adding that the company would send a delegation to Cairo soon to reach a partnership.
