IDA, GAFI sign protocol to promote Al-Robbiki Leather City

Egypt’s Industrial Development Authority (IDA), the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), and the Commercial Representation Authority signed on Monday a cooperation protocol to promote Al-Robbiki Leather City’s industrial opportunities domestically and internationally.

The agreement, signed during the launch conference for ready-made leather product factories in Badr City, East Cairo, aims to attract foreign and local investments by leveraging Egypt’s investment and commercial representation offices. It will market Al-Robbiki Leather City to global and local investors, organise joint international events, and provide logistical support to companies.

Notably, a joint executive committee will oversee the protocol’s implementation, ensuring coordinated efforts to enhance investment in Egypt’s industrial sectors.
