The total personal loans of the Industrial Development and Workers Bank of Egypt (IDWBE) hit a record of EGP146 million at the end of last November compared to EGP90 million 2012-end , move up by EGP56 million.
Hamdy Azam, member of the board of directors of IDWBE said the increasing of personal loans is due to the bank’s expansion to grant the loans and to deliver the gas to homes.
Azam has informed Amwal Al Ghad that the growing of the personal loans and the expansion of financing small and medium sized projects reflect on achieving profits worth EGP104 million at the end of last September against EGP70 million at June 2013.
He further expected that the volume of financing will exceed EGP150 million at the end of the current year.
