Ikea Announces Presenting Furniture with Integrated Electronics

The world’s biggest furniture maker, Ikea has announced plans to launch a line of furniture with integrated connected television and sound systems.

The move comes after an agreement was signed with China-based TCL Multimedia, as Ikea officials said.

The new product range will initially be launched in five European cities in June, throughout seven European countries this autumn, and in its remaining markets in the summer of 2013, the firm said, as Reuters reported.
