Indonesia is aiming for economic growth between 5.8 per cent and 6.3 per cent in 2026, according to Planning Minister Rachmat Pambudy on Monday.
Rachmat announced the GDP growth target while presenting the government’s agenda for 2026. Indonesia aims to achieve a growth rate of 5.2 per cent this year, a slight increase from the 5.03 per cent recorded in 2024.
The working plan is utilised by ministries to develop policies for the upcoming year, typically initiating budget discussions with parliament in the middle of the year.
