Indonesia’s annual inflation rate slowed to 1.55 per cent in November 2024, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.33, a report from the country’s statistical agency showed on Monday.
The slowdown in inflation can be attributed to several factors, including stable food prices and controlled fuel costs. However, the personal care and other services group saw a significant year-on-year inflation rate of 7.26 per cent.
In November 2024, the year-on-year inflation rate for the Core Component was 2.26 per cent, the month-on-month inflation rate was 0.17 per cent, and the year-to-date inflation rate was 2.09 per cent.
