The Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) will hold a press conference today to announce its suggestions planned to submit during Egypt’s upcoming Economic Summit in March.
The conference will also discuss the latest developments of the unified investment law and its role in attracting the foreign investments into Egypt. In addition, FEI will tackle the law of local product preference, the Egyptian industrial sector’s needs, and obstacles standing against the Egyptian industry.
Last Monday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi issued a new law on the preference of Egyptian products in governmental tenders and auctions, stipulating that the constituent of the local form should not be less than 40%.
