Egypt’s Industry Ministry is keen on developing small and micro enterprises through providing integrated bunch of aids for those projects, Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour – Minister- stated Sunday .
The minister made these remarks during the signing ceremony of the cooperation protocol between Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) and Social Fund for Development (SFD) to implement number of programs to support the entrepreneurs.
He clarified that those aids include financial and technological support as well as providing consultancies and feasibility studies to insure the success for the projects and increase their competency in the local market in addition to exporting to international markets.
Abdel Nour added that Egypt is aiming at developing the business environment and upgrade patterns and methods of industry and trade as well as offered logistic services through encouraging the optimum use of latest technology.
Through this protocol, SFD will provide adequate finance opportunities for different small and micro enterprises, the minister claimed.
Moreover, Abdel Nour asserted that Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) play an important role as a major key of sustainable development that provides job opportunities for youth and face the unemployment problem
