International Gateway Services for 2 Operators Up EGP3.3b -Egypt’s NTRA

The National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) revealed that the price of the international gateway services will reach up EGP1.8 billion for Vodafone Egypt and EGP1.5 billion for The Egyptian Company for Mobile Services Mobinil (EMOB)-(CA), noting that the decision includes rising the return which will be obtained by the country compared to 2.4% to 6%  licences from the total annual revenues services.

NTRA emphasized that offering international gateway services will be by June2016 so that Etisalat Egypt has to pay EGP8 for every fixed or mobile subscriber.
