Telecom Egypt said on Thursday that all communication and internet services were 100 percent restored after reporting earlier this day a double cut in two internet linking cables of (Al Rawda-Beni Suef) and (October-Fayoum). This caused an internet lag and also affected mobile calls quality in a number of Upper Egypt cities.
TE had immediately formed a specialised work team that largely managed to fix the damaged cables and recover all internet services in affected areas along with the company’s crisis management centre.
