Iranian vendors selling Apple products despite sanctions

iPads and iPhones are widely available for sale in Tehran, despite US media reports that Apple was banning sales to customers of Iranian background, AFP has reported.

One salesman told AFP that he had sold 40 iPhones las Friday, and explained that prices for Apple items in Iran were only around $50-$60 more than in the United States. Traders were easily getting around US sanctions on the export of popular electronic items to Iran, he said.
