Iraq exports 3.3 million bpd oil in June

The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced on Saturday that oil export revenues during June exceeded $7 billion, with average daily quantity exported exceeded 3.33 million barrels per day (bpd).

According to the State Organisation for Marketing of Oil, the total exports of crude during June were nearly 100.06 million barrels, with revenues amounting to $7.11 billion.

The Iraqi Oil Marketing Company Sumo said that last June’s total exports from oil fields in central and southern Iraq were 98 million, 725 thousand and 620 barrels, while exports to Jordan amounted to 299 thousand and 445 barrels.

The Iraq’s oil production rose in June due to an increase in exports from the south of the country, but as oil exports from the north continued to stall, production remained well below the level allowed by OPEC.
