Iraq, Saudi Arabia To Discuss Exchange Of Prisoners

An Iraqi delegation will arrive Sunday evening in the Saudi capital of Riyadh to discuss for three days mechanisms of exchanging Saudi and Iraqi prisoners, the Okaz newspaper reported.

The panel, consisting of five senior Iraqi Interior Ministry officials, will also discuss with Saudi officials security cooperation in fighting terrorism and illegal crossing of borders, a source told the newspaper.

Al Hayat newspaper reported last November that five Saudis are facing execution in Iraq as the prisoner exchange agreement between the two countries is still pending.
