Iraqi Firm To Set Up 500 Residential Units In Karbala

An Iraqi firm will carry out the first big residential project in eastern Karbala at a cost of $63 million, head of the reconstruction and the strategic planning committee of the Karbala council said on Thursday.

“An Iraqi firm was awarded the license to establish 500 residential units in al-Hindiya district in eastern Karbala, the first of its kind in the province,” Abbas Nasser Hassani told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.”The project will be implemented on 60 donums within two years,” he added.Karbala lies 108 km southwest of Baghdad.
