Israel comes under largest attack from Lebanon since Gaza war
Hezbollah, the Lebanese Shia military group, fired around 50 rockets towards northern Israel on Thursday morning, as the largest attack from Lebanon since the Gaza conflict escalated early last month, according to the Israeli Army Radio.
Hezbollah militant group announced on Thursday that their militants fired 48 missiles, targeting the Israeli Ein Zeitim base, near the city of Safed.
According to the radio “two anti-tank missiles were fired at a lighting pole in the area of Galilee Panhandle. There were no casualties, but damage occurred.”
Earlier, the Israeli defence minister said that the defence establishment has noted a growing trend of “Iran pushing for militia attacks against Israel using its proxies in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen.
