Israel detains dozens of Palestinian hostages in West Bank
Israel raided a number of Palestinian neighborhoods in the West Bank and detained dozens of civilians late at night, Al Arabiya reported early Tuesday.
Despite the extension of the truce in Gaza, the killing and detaining of Palestinian civilians in the West Bank continues.
According to the report, hundreds of young men were arrested in the occupied territory.
Al Arabiya also said that during the early hours of Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces stormed Beitunia and Kafr Ain, west of Ramallah, and shot dead two young men.
Since the seventh of October, Israel detained more than 3,200 Palestinians in the West Bank, the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs said.
These 3,200 hostages were mainly taken from their homes or at Israeli checkpoints.
Violence against Palestinians in the West Bank has been ongoing for decades with a huge number of raids and arrests every day in the area.
