Israel to lose billions of dollars due to Yemen port blockage

In solidarity with Palestinians, Yemen Armed Forces said on Sunday that it will obstruct Israeli ships to travel around Africa, causing Israel to lose billions of dollars due to Houthis blocking the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.

“If Gaza does not receive the food and medicine it needs, all ships in the Red Sea bound for Israeli ports, regardless of their nationality, will become a target for our armed forces,” the Houthi military spokesperson said in a statement on Saturday.

In its latest report, the Palestinian Health Ministry stated that the war on Gaza has resulted so far in over 18,200 martyrs with more than 49,000 civilians severely wounded.
