Israel protested ban on analysts

Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram reported that Israel has protested a decision by Information Minister Salah Abdel-Maqsud to investigate senior executives at the state-owned Nile News after the channel hosted Israeli strategic expert Eyal Alima to comment on the attacks in Sinai that claimed the lives of 16 border soldiers.

The Israeli Embassy in Cairo said the ban on hosting Israeli experts violates the peace agreement.
