Israeli hostages exposed to same ‘death, destruction’ as Palestinians – Hamas

Israeli hostages held in besieged Gaza are subjected to the same “death and destruction” that Palestinians face, said leader of Hamas on Wednesday.

Hamas also told mediators that it was necessary for the “massacre” to stop.

It also called on people to continue protesting, especially in the West, to mount pressure on decision makers, Hamas’ Ismail Haniyeh said in a recorded video.

So far, the Israeli airstrikes have killed around 57 of the Israeli hostages taken by Hamas.

The Palestinian death toll passed 8,500 innocent civilians killed in just 23 days.
