Israeli strike kills Palestinian reporter in Gaza
Israeli airstrike on Gaza killed Palestinian reporter, Mohammad Abu Hasira, the official Palestinian news agency reported Tuesday.
Abu Hasira was the latest journalist to fall victim to the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the West Bank.
The WAFA news agency, where he worked, said that he “was killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted his house located near the fishermen’s port west of Gaza City,”.
The agency also reported he and “42 members of his family, including his sons and brothers” were killed in the strike.
The bombardment that killed Abu Hasira took place overnight between Sunday and Monday, however, his body was only found in the rubble on Tuesday.
The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said on Monday that at least 32 Palestinian journalists and media employees had been killed since the beginning of the attacks.
The Israeli bombardments killed more than 10,300 innocent civilians, as of Tuesday, including 60 of the Israeli hostages trapped in Gaza.
