The Chamber of Information Technology at the Federation of Egyptian Industries will hold a board meeting next Tuesday to present the business results of the previous period and discuss the procedures that the Chamber plans to carry out in the next period regarding the electronic marketing project to be held by its affiliated companies.
Hossam Al Samad, Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Information Technology, stated that the meeting will name the sources that will fund the electronic marketing projects in case that the Information Technology Industry Development Agency rejected financing these projects. He pointed out that the Chamber may cooperate with multi-national companies or will obtain the fund from banks.
He added that the e-marketing project aims at training small-and-medium-sized companies on how to market their products via the internet and to make use of advanced technologies.
Moreover, the Chamber will sign a protocol of cooperation with the Chambers of commerce and Industry in Abu Dhabi and Jeddah for organizing two fairs for Egyptian companies. The first fair will start on the 21st of next October and will last for two days, while the second will be held in Jeddah next November, in addition to another fair in December.
