Italy-based Mulmix Company is offering Egypt to establish a number of silos for wheat and grain storage, Egyptian Minister of Supply Khaled Hanafy announced Sunday.
According to Minister Hanafy, the Italian company intends to set up a number of wheat and grain silos in some governorates alongside in Damietta’s planned logistics Centre for the handling and storage of grain and food commodities.
The Minister’s statements made after his meeting with Italian ambassador in Cairo, Maurizio Massari and a delegation of Mulmix officials led by general manager Marco Mattoccia.
Founded in 1962, Mulmix is a specialized division of Officine Facco SpA, dedicated to the production of machines for grain handling and cleaning, feed mill units and cereal storage for zootechnical usage.
Through Damietta’s anticipated logistics centre, the government in Egypt aims to transform the country into a global grain handling, processing, and storing hub.
