The events of ITB Berlin, the world’s leading travel trade show, which lasts from 6 to 10 March, started today with Egyptian participation for 100 exhibitors of whopping hotels, touristic companies, and hotels chambers, on an area of 1515 square meters.
Mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit and Mari Elka Pangestu, Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, inaugurated the convention this morning. The convention encompasses 188 states.
During the first day of the convention, the Egyptian wing organized a reception entitled (Start with Egypt), in the presence of German touristic firms. The Egyptian wing will also, during the convention’s days, will promote for a number of important touristic patterns in Egypt like the green tourism and cruise tourism.
Both of Hesham Zazou, Egyptian Tourism Minister, and Dr Mohamed Hegazy, Egyptian Minister to Berlin, opened Tutankhamun convention for counterfeit parts; aiming to promote for the Egyptian cultural tourism. In addition to that, Zazou will meet with a number of figures during the convention in Berlin.
