Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) plans announcing for the joint projects with the World Bank within two weeks in the field of developing information technology.
Vice President for developing information technology markets & attract direct foreign investments within ITIDA Ehab Mostafa, revealed that the partnership with the World Bank will include numbers of projects regarding developing information technology.
Outsourcing, Call Centers services and exporting information technology are at the top priorities of the cooperation between ITIDA and the World Bank.
World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC) are planning financing 70% of ITIDA’s project in order to establish a general framework for the specification of the labor market in addition the skills required to operate the IT sector.
The total value of the project estimated at EGP7.2million (US$1million), ITIDA will bear 30% and the bank will bear 70%.
