ITIDA Supports Wireless Stars to Develop ART System in Egypt

The Information Technology Industry Agency (ITIDA) inked  supporting and financing contract with Wireless stars Egypt-Company and Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) which will develop ARTS system Accurate and Reliable Traffic Estimation(ARTS) system  for measuring Cairo’s traffic on streets.

ARTS is based on creative way to determine the place by using mobile phone towers in order to measure and analysis transmitted signals of mobile phone kinds to cellular towers that do not require the GPS, and by offering ARTS system with cloud platform for mobile, the system will able to expand to resolve the traffic dilemmas in many countries.

Adel Youssef, founder and CEO of Wireless Stars said the support will allow to expand the Wanalytics databases in order to able to provide information for mobile phone users in Arab region.

Youssef explained that ARTS will has great effect on Information Technology Industry field in Egypt by providing new services and opportunities in various sectors, as it will allow for mobile phone operators to present accurate services.
