Japan Airlines plane on fire after collision at Tokyo airport

A Japan Airlines plane went ablaze after a collision with a Coast Guard aircraft at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport on Tuesday, Reuters reported.

All 379 passengers and crew members aboard the plane were able to evacuate safely.

However, of the people aboard the Coast Guard aircraft, five out of the six crew members are unaccounted for, while the captain escaped.

Live footage on public broadcaster NHK showed the A350 aircraft as it burst into flames after landing.
