Japan sees Egypt as key investment partner – minister

Japan’s Economy Minister Yuichiro Koga on Tuesday praised Egypt’s growing economic significance and highlighted opportunities for Japanese investment across various sectors during the Egyptian-Japanese Business Council, Egypt’s Cabinet said.

Koga noted the recent notable development of Egypt’s economy and its importance for Japanese investors, citing contributions to industrial growth, energy projects, and job creation, according to the Cabinet.

He also commended Egypt’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with Japan and Japanese companies, as well as bilateral collaboration in cultural and archaeological fields, including hosting Egyptian exhibitions in Japan.
