Japan’s factory output rises 1.4% in Sep. ’24

Japan’s factory output increased 1.4 per cent in September compared to the previous month, surpassing the market forecast of one per cent, according to an official data showed on Thursday.

Manufacturers anticipate an 8.3 per cent rise in October and a 3.7 per cent decline in November. Retail sales in Japan grew by 0.5 per cent in September, falling short of the expected 2.3 per cent increase.
