Japan’s household spending drops 1.4% YoY in June – data

Japanese consumer spending in June declined by 1.4 per cent compared to the previous year, as per the recent data from the Statistics Bureau of Japan on Tuesday.

On a more positive note, average monthly income per household surged by 6.5 per cent nominally to 957,457 yen.
