Japan’s Private-sector machinery orders declined for the second consecutive month in August 2024, falling by 1.9 per cent compared to the previous month, according to government data released on Wednesday.
By sector, manufacturing orders decreased by 2.5 per cent month-on-month in August, while non-manufacturing orders experienced a more significant decline of 7.7 per cent.
