Joe Biden warns Israel losing global support over Gaza war

U.S. President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that Israel would lose global support for its war against Hamas with “indiscriminate” bombing in Gaza, adding that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu needs to change his hardline government.

In this regard, Netanyahu clashed with Biden over who should govern Gaza after their war, in a remarkable public display of differences emerging between the two leaders over the conflict.

The warning came over the incessant Israeli bombardment over Gaza since October 7, which has killed more than 18,000 people, more than two-thirds of them children and women.

The UN’s satellite analysis agency, UNOSAT, examined high-resolution satellite images to determine that nearly 40,000 buildings have been destroyed in the besieged enclave, with 80 percent of the damage in northern Gaza.
