Jordan Ahli Bank Sponsors MIT Student Delegation Visit To Jordan

Giving its full support to a wholesome educational and cultural exchange amongst youth, Jordan Ahli Bank collaborated with Oasis 500 and the Royal Scientific Society to host the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) MBA student delegation’s visit to Jordan. This visit was held as part of the 2012 MIT MBA MENA Trek program.

The delegation, comprising 70 students of different nationalities, experienced a true sense of Jordanian cultural, enjoying a diverse range of cultural educational and touristic activities over a 4-day agenda. They discussed pressing issues with ministers, decision makers, prominent political figures and business professionals, while also engaging in a series of business workshops hosted at the headquarters of Oasis 500, and concluding the visit was a lecture conducted by HRH Prince Hassan bin Talal, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of Science and Technology at the Royal Scientific Society .

Lending a positive space for the exchange of entrepreneurial ideas, success stories and business project development opportunities, the workshops were conducted by leading business professionals and experts in the financial field. Speaking on behalf of the Jordanian Banking Sector, was Deputy CEO / Head of Group Strategy and Corporate Communications at Jordan Ahli Bank , Mr. Saad Mouasher who on his part spoke about the banking sector in Jordan, the SME Finance opportunity, and entrepreneurship.

Mr. Mouasher encouraged MIT MBAs to consider Jordan as a business hub for their ideas and as a platform for regional expansion.
