Jordan’s oil bill dropped 12.4 per cent to JD2.249 billion in the first ten months of 2024, a JD318 million decline, compared to JD2.567 billion in the same period a year earlier, according to the Department of Statistics’ monthly trade report.
Fuel and mineral oils led imports at JD696 million, followed by crude oil at JD680 million. Gasoline accounted for JD416 million, diesel for JD414 million, lubricating oils for JD33 million, and kerosene for JD10 million.
