Kamel Amr: Egypt Is Ready To Support Syrian Opposition Coalition

The Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Kamel Amr, has met the leaders of the Syrian opposition coalition. He stressed the significance of the step that was taken by Friends of Syrian conference.

In a conference held today, Friends of Syria recognized the Syrian opposition coalition; meanwhile, the Egyptian minister announced that Egypt is ready to support the opposition coalition and its office in Cairo.

The two sides, Egyptian and Syrian ones, affirmed that they will intensify their talks in the coming period over transferring power in Syria.
