The Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr Hesham Kandil, stressed, to his Chadian counterpart, on the significance of Egypt’s role in developing its relations with the African continent; adding that Egypt is keen on participating in the events of Community of Sahel-Saharan States’ Extraordinary Summit, which encompasses 28 countries.
On Tuesday morning, Kandil met the Libyan Prime Minister before the summit starts. Both of them agreed on holding the meetings of the joint supreme committee next April.
These statements issued by the Cabinet spokesman, ambassador Alaa El-Hadidi; adding that Dr Hesham Kandil has take part in this import summit instead of President Morsi. The participation comes in the framework of restoring Egypt’s role on the African arena.
