Karim Helal, Chairman of ASEAN Egypt Business Association, said the flounder in the economic decisions made by the Egyptian government is considered as one of the negative influences on the foreign investor’s evaluation for the investing environment in Egypt. Therefore, it is expected that these flounders may expel many foreign investors in the coming period. In his statements to Amwal Al Ghad, Karim Helal has referred that this flounder emerged after announcing the new taxes amendments and then resending them; underscoring the necessity of economic state stability in Egypt in order to attract more of investments, and operate the investments which had been suspended due to these incidents. He added that the association is seeking to reassure the Asian businessmen to work inside the Egyptian market, but the government has to support the private sector.
