Kellogg Noodles’ investments exceed $40 mln in Egypt
Kellogg Noodles has increased its investment volume in Egypt to exceed $40 million so far, said Ahmed Shalash, Sales Director at Kellogg’s Tolaram Egypt, on the sidelines of Food Africa 2023.
The company expands its investment portfolio in Egypt over the current year with a total of $14 million to increase production capacities, Shalesh added in an exclusive interview with Amwal Al Ghad Arabic.
Shalesh further mentioned that the company’s exports account for about 30 percent of the production capacity, as it aims to reach about 50 percent of its production over the next two years.
The company is exporting to 28 countries in North Africa, the Middle East, and some countries in West Africa, where it aims to strengthen its presence on the African continent, as well as some Asian countries, he said.
In 2018, Kellogg Company embarked on a joint venture with Tolaram Group to launch a noodles factory with total investments estimated at $2.7 billion.
