Kenya is hoping to create specialised partnerships with Egypt in electricity and energy investments, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum Charles Keter said Tuesday.
Keter made his remark at a meeting with Egypt’s Ambassador in Nairobi Khaled Al-Abyad, which took up means of boosting cooperation between both countries.
Keter applauded Egypt’s recent achievements in electricity, new and renewable energy sector.
Underlining Egypt’s commitment to promoting cooperation and supporting African economic integration, the ambassador said that many Egyptian companies are currently exploring investment opportunities in the sisterly African state.
