Kerry: No agreement in Syria talks on Assad’s future

There is still no agreement on the future of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad despite concrete progress in talks on ending the civil war in Syria, US Secretary of State John Kerry stated Saturday.

“We still still differ on what happens to Bashar al-Assad,” Kerry told a joint news conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and UN special envoy Staffan de Mistura after talks in Vienna.
