Kuwaiti EMAC to deliver 3 Egyptian infrastructure projects in 18 months
EMAC Contracting, affiliates to Kuwaiti Al Kharafi and Sons Group, says it plans to deliver three infrastructure flagships in Sharqia and Beheira governorates within a maximum timeframe of 18 months.
The three projects will cost 800 million Egyptian pounds ($48.3 million), EMAC’s chief executive Samir Fathy announced on Wednesday.
“The utilities projects, which will include the implementation of wastewater treatment stations and water lines, are being financed by the World Bank Group,” Fathy said.
The World Bank provided more than 1 billion pounds to finance the establishment of a comprehensive utilities network in several governorates in Upper and Lower Egypt.
