Kuwait’s sixth aid plane to Gaza, carrying 40 tons of necessities and supplies, departed Kuwait on Sunday, and is heading to Egypt, local press reported.
The plane is part of the initiative in line with the Kuwaiti leadership’s directives and the people’s solemn support to the Palestinian people.
Both governmental and non-governmental entities as well as charities have worked together to gather supplies and send the needed aid.
Kuwaiti relief operations to the Gaza Strip were launched last Monday, with around 150 tons delivered so far.
These include food, medicine and medical supplies, ambulances, and intensive care units.
