Lawsuit Calls For Holding Referendum On Morsi’s Legitimacy

A lawsuit filed before Egypt’s Judiciary Administrative Court, at the State’s Council, by Ahmed Mohamed, an Egyptian lawyer. The lawsuit calls for retuning a verdict suspend the coming parliamentary elections and also holding a referendum on the legitimacy of President Mohamed Morsi.

The lawsuit mentioned that the Egyptians are witnessing the current incidents and know that the state is on the brink of a bankruptcy to create a crisis; consequently a hunger revolution will erupt to destroy the state and its institutions. All these reasons may lead to a civil war among the Egyptians, so holding a referendum on Morsi’s legitimacy is necessary.

A high majority of Egyptians are against the policies of President Morsi and his government, which is not able to manage the country’s affairs, the lawsuit elaborated; adding that there are three cities seek toppling President Morsi, they are Ismailia, Suez and Port Said.
