Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has toured the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) in Cairo, accompanied by Lebanese Culture Minister Ghassan Salamé and Energy and Water Minister Joseph Saddi, a Cabinet statement announced.
Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the GEM, led a tour through the outdoor plaza, main hall, Grand Staircase, and 12 exhibition halls displaying Egypt’s civilisation from early dynasties to the Greco-Roman period.
Souad Mohamed from the Public Relations and Protocol Department highlighted the museum’s diverse sections and rare artefacts, noting its innovative display approach that underscores the grandeur of Egyptian civilisation.
