One of the world’s largest computer manufacturers, Lenovo is recalling more than 160,000 personal computers from all over the world. The recall includes devices made from May 2010 to January 2012.
The company found a defect in one of the power supply elements which causes the device to overheat quickly and said that there have been several documented cases of fires.
The manufacturer promises to replace the defective parts free of charge.
This is not the first such case for Lenovo computers, as in March 2007 the company recalled more than 200,000 batteries for their laptops, as voice of Russia stated.
