Lithuania is building a huge tech campus, in the capital of Vilnius to become the new tech capital of the Baltics, with a €100 million development that will span 55,000 square meters and house 5,000 digital workers, CNBC said on Friday.
The project aims to enhance Vilnius’ tech workers to return to the office after the pandemic. Tech companies have increasingly been pushing for their employees to go back to the office.
The project will bring sustainable construction practices to the forefront, repurposing factory parts and structural elements across the site. The campus, upon completion in 2024, will contend for the title of the ‘largest tech campus in Europe’.
