Low Turnout in Al Maadi, Basateen’s Precincts

A low turnout in the precincts in the districts of Al Maadi and Basateen on the first day of Egypt’s presidential run-off elections.

Most of the precincts opened at (8:00 PM), as it is decided, and they don’t witness any supporters of the two candidates; FJP’s Candidate Mohamed Morsi, or Senior Commander Ahmed Shafiq.

A number of policemen and army officers were in front of the precincts to secure them and facilitate the voting process.
