Marches In Luxor And Beni Suef Demand Return Of Mohamed Morsi

Pro-Morsi forces marched on Friday in Beni Suef city in the Upper Egypt governorate south of Cairo, demanding the release of the ousted president; the reinstatement of the Islamist-written constitution; the end of “military rule.” Hundreds of residents of villages across the governorate demonstrated in front of mosques following Friday prayer to restore “legitimacy.”

Meanwhile, the National Alliance for Legitimacy organised a march Friday afternoon in the city of Luxor in Upper Egypt demanding the return of the ousted president.

Other pro-Morsi marches are underway in Cairo, Alexandria and other cities around the country.
