Maridive’s unit signs 3-year contract with Mellitah Oil and Gas Company
Egypt’s Maridive & Oil Service announced on Monday that its unit Al-Mayez Oil and Gas Services Co. was awarded a three-year contract with Mellitah Oil and Gas Company, one of the biggest oil companies in Libya.
Maridive has a 49 per cent share in Al-Mayez.
According to the company’s disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), the project is valued at €29.72 million ($32.1 million), set to begin in the first quarter of 2024.
The contract supports the exploration and production activities for Mellitah in the Bouri and Bahr El Sallam Fields in Libya, the company added.
Al-Mayez Oil and Gas Services Co. in Libya is still under establishment under Maridive’s Board of Directors decisions held on June 21st, 2023.
