Essam Rashed, head of Marine Hull Insurance Committee and general manager of Marine Insurance sector at Suez Canal Insurance Company, said the committee will be discussing the repercussions of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam upon boats and floating hotels.
Essam Rashed, in exclusive statements to Amwal Al Ghad, revealed that the committee within the upcoming period will discuss the dam’s impact in case of witnessing a decline in Egypt’s water shares of the Nile and its repercussions on making the insured floating hotels and tourist boats run aground.
He pointed out that one of the water experts is expected to attend the committee meeting in order to discuss the dam’s issue and its fallout on the marine insurance policies.
