McDonald’s, the world’s biggest restaurant chain by revenue, is planning to pump EGP1 billion in the Egyptian market until 2020 through boosting its nation-wide branches.
Mr. Alaa Fathy, McDonald’s Egypt Deputy General Manager asserted that the firm is seeking boosting its subsidiaries in the Egyptian market to become more than 150 by 2020, in order to ensure the firm’s global confidence and the capacities of the Egyptian economy to pass its recent crisis.
McDonald has doubled its subsidiaries’ numbers within the last 20 years, noting that it trying to provide more than 10.000 new job vacancies in the upcoming phase, so that the numbers of workers will reach up 9.000 by 2020 the triple size of the current employment, Fathy noted.
